Australian Journey In 2000, my husband Peter Blizzard and I traveled 18,000km through Central Australia, to Kakadu, across the top to the Kimberleys, Pilbara, down the West Coast and across the Nullarbor. Peter drove and I sketched and painted all day from the landrover…an amazing trip. I had exhibitions of the resulting work simultaneously [in the form of an installation of more than 100 paintings in each exhibition] at East & West Gallery, Melbourne and Isogaya Gallery, Tokyo. The Tokyo show travelled to Nagoya and Fukuoka. |
